ichi is an integral part of Jukut Paku village, a relatively intact settlement from where its workforce is drawn.
Here guests hear the joyful voices resounding from the village children, who attend regular lessons in traditional Balinese dance.
M
Michi is an eclectic mosaic: a jumble of ideas, whims, and subjective tastes: at a glance, it is a bit of a Gaudi, a Le Corbusier, a Hundredwasser, a Zen, and a traditional Balinese but not imitation.
Michi is a “living sculpture and art” as a labor of love.
Here, the guest unavoidably confronts art works in reproduction by Eastern and Western masters such as Michelangelo, Miro, Modigliani, Rodin, Picasso, Klimt, Man Ray and along with other original local artists. Michi is the founder’s journey that will pass on to his devoted “family” members by completing the cycle of life.
